National workers of NNC/FGN has expressed shock at the demise of GOC Northern Command, Naga Army, FGN Brig. A. Saheni on August 9. A condolence note by midan peyu, FGN, Shepoumaramth Region, K. Michuhru Aru described late Saheni as capable Naga army personnel who had entered national defence service in March, 1964 and had been a regular high ranking Naga army officer till his last breath. It stated that the works he had done in defense of Nagaland would never go in vain and FGN extends deep heartfelt sorrow and grief to the bereaved family members, relatives and friends and pray that the Almighty God grants peace and solace to departed soul to rest in peace.
