Secretary to the government of Nagaland and chairman Nagaland health care establishment authority Nagaland Dr. Maongwati Aier IAS has directed to all the concerned that as per the provision of section 3 of the Nagaland health care establishment Act 1997, to register or renew their license within three months from the date of issue for all the health care establishment-1, general hospital, maternity hospital nursing home, dispensary , clinic, sanatorium or an institution of any recognized system of medicine, any institution centre by whatever name called where physical or mentally sick, injured or infirm persons are admitted either as in patients or out patients for treatment with or without the aid of operative procedure , it shall also mean a centre catering the radiological, biological and other diagnostic or investigative service with the aid of laboratory or other medical equipments.
Any violation, contravention or non compliance of the act and rules made therein shall be punished as per provision of the act. The application form for registration/license and renewal can be collected from room no. 302 directorate of health and family welfare Kohima.
