Naga independence day celebrated across the state

GPRN/NSCN (Reformation) Yimchungru Region observed Naga Independence Day on August 14. Yimchungru Region authorities along with its Naga Army conducted a short programme at Shamator in commemoration of the 70th Naga Independence Day. 
Yimchungru region secretary, Ahoba stated that short speech was delivered by Kheantsu deputy kilonser cum Yimchungru Region chairman. In his speech, Kheantsu encouraged all rank and files to be dedicated and devoted towards the cause of Naga national movement and contribute the best for its upliftment.
Program was chaired by Ahoba secretary Yimchungru Region NSCN-Reformation who also gave the welcome note. Rank and files of NSCN-Reformation Yimchungru Region who were present at the program were Kheantsu deputy kilonser cum chairman; Ahoba secretary; Keorun central council member; C Akam Razapeyu; Y Akam Razapeyu; Shahying Razapeyu; Mukhe captain/guard commander; Luntsuba  seargent major and S. Wongtokiu sergeant.
Lotha Regional Council (NNC): Lotha Regional Council (NNC) parent body under the leadership of acting president Z. Royim Yimchungrü and general secretary, V. Nagi observed the Naga Independence Day on August 14 at Wokha town. A press note by Lotha Regional Council (NNC) publicity & information secretary, E. Patton stated that the programme started with mass prayer and president of Lotha Regional Council (NNC) Yilow Hümtsoe addressed the gathering and extended heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the members present. Further all the sub regions in Lotha Region also observed the Naga independence day peacefully, and ended the programme with benediction by Nzüo Tsopoe, Rana Peyu Lotha Regional Council (NNC).
4th Battalion NNC-NNA Lotha Region:  The 4th Battalion NNC-NNA Lotha region celebrated the day at the residence of brigadier M. Kithan Wokha town, where Chichamo Humtsoe 4th Bn commandant unfurled the Naga national flag. During the programme M. Kithan spoke on Naga unity. He further urged all patriots to dedicate their service for the nation. Finally, he thanked  his subordinates for making the occasion a grand success.
