The yearly executive of All Nagaland Hindi Teachers ‘Union (ANHTU) Kohima Unit including Chiephobozou Hindi Teachers’ meeting was held on August 6 for deliberation of the coming Hindi Diwas (Hindi day) and for the welfare of the Hindi Teachers’ Union.
The meeting was chaired by Kekhrieneilie Tsikhano, president All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (Kohima Unit).In the meeting the members held a minute’s silence silent in remembrance one of its member Vilavolie Rossi who had served as Hindi Teacher at GMS Phekertiikrema and who died on July 14, 2016. In the meeting the key note address and vote of thanks were delivered by Vizothal Zhotso, general secretary and Kiyakhrielie Miario, joint secretary respectively. The union has informed to all the Hindi Teachers Kohima district that the “Hindi Diwas” would be held on September 14 at Chiephobozou, Kohima and also informed that as usual there would be competitions like essay writings, debate, extempore speech, singing (solo) and recitation would be held on September 13 at venue of the programme. All the concerned teachers have been requested to attend the programme.
