The raped accused identified as one Neyikumzuk Jamir (22), who allegedly raped a minor girl of 14 on August 11 was arrested on August 12 afternoon by the police at Kohima. According to sources, the incident came to light after the victim informed her family, and consequently filed the case at south police station Kohima and later the accused was arrested and kept under judicial custody.
The other detail could be ascertained till the filing of this report as the case is under investigation by the concern authority.
