The regional chief of HUDCO L.M. Yanthan accompanied by the AGM (Finance) Dr. S. Deka held a consultative meeting with the Adhoc Town Committee members, public leaders, NGOs, GBs and the president of the various colonies and wards of Tizit town on August 5, at the conference hall of the ADC, Tizit.
Yanthan advised the people to have a master plan for future development of Tizit town. He said being a new ULB and having a potential for developing it into an industrial town, a road map for Tizit town was a must. While Dr. S. Deka said ULBs were self sustaining bodies, hence streamlining the finances and investment in the right direction would keep the finances of the ULB in right perspective. Both the regional chief and the AGM shared in detail the glimpse of HUDCO activities and it’s functioning, financial management and tapping of revenue generation with the functionaries of Tizit. Earlier the programme was chaired by ADC Tizit R. Odyuo. ADC on behalf of the people of Tizit thanked the HUDCO team for organising the consultative meeting and sparing their valuable times which would benefit and boost the economy development of the Tizit town.
