NDD 2nd round observed in Nagaland

National Deworming Day (NDD) 2nd round was observed at Supply colony anganwadi centre on Wednesday. 
In a brief programme, deputy chief medical officer, Dr. Antolly administered the deworming tablets to the children. The programme was attended by colony council chairman, GB, chairperson and members of united women welfare organization, DPO, Nezolu Rhakho, CDPO (Urban) and supervisors. (Staff Reporter)
SMFHS Zunheboto: 2nd round National De-Worming Day inauguration programme was held at Shovishe Memorial Govt High School (SMGHS) premises on August 10, where SDO (C), Zunheboto, Shanavas(IAS) inaugurated and administered the first De-worming tablet. Dr. Alemwabang Aier, DPO (RCH &UIP) gave the key note address. 
In his address, Shanavas talked about the importance of healthy life style and also emphasised on the importance of hygienic environment, saying that to live a healthy living standard “we” have to start from oneself. 
He motivated the teachers and students to be an ambassador to create awareness about the different activities carried out by the medical department. He also encouraged the health workers to work with dedication and sincerity, mentioning that there was obstacle in every corner. 
Shanavas also thanked the health workers for their hard work and services rendered to the society. Vote of thanks was delivered by DPM, Vitoli. De worming tablets would be given in all govt & pvt schools, health units and Anganwadi centres. 
The inaugural function was chaired by astt head master, SMGHS, Khehoshe Z. Zhimo.
