
Affirmative Customer Experience (ACE) an initiative of Entrepreneur Associates (EA) supported by Directorate of Underdeveloped Area (DUDA) was launched on August 9 at its Training and Research Centre, EA office, Kohima.
This is a flagship program under BADP – Capacity Building Program 2015-16 which would kickstart on August 10. ACE is a customer service centric training for the retail and hospitality sectors that plays the dual function of being both a training and placement portal. It is a holistic 90 hour training program spread over 30 working days that imparts training on employability skills.
The chief guest director, DUDA, K.S. Anden Konyak NCS during his address asked the trainees to put their sincere efforts in their training and to practise what they have learned. He also urged the trainees to lead a purposeful life so that people from the border areas would look up to them and follow their footsteps.
Speaking on the occasion, lead trainer, EA, Ela Susan James in her introductory note said that the trainees would be the first ambassadors of this training program. She stressed on the unfortunate current status quo of customer service in the state and exhorted the trainees to utilize this training for self-improvement and to bring changes in the retail and hospitality sectors in Nagaland.
The program was attended by dignitaries of DUDA, project officer (BADP) Zakie Angami, superintendent (Estd) Manlen Konyak, additional director Malang Phom, trainees of ACE and staff of EA. It was reported that altogether 25 trainees would undergo ACE training selected from the border areas of Nagaland.
The program was chaired by administrative coordinator, EA Yutho Sangtam while vote of thanks was given by coordinator (SKILLS) Thejazevi Riirhia.
