Induction programme for district office bearers of Wokha District Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) was held August 6, at DC’s conference hall, Wokha.
At the programme, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Wokha Wezope Kenye in his short speech encouraged the scouts and guides to be a law abiding good citizen by being physically fit, mentally aware and morally strong.
DC further asked the scout and guide to live a good life and to prepare to face the world and excel by putting their effort. S/M of regimental school, Zujanthung Ezung also spoke on the knowledge of BS&G.
Meanwhile, the programme, inducted new members Which would be led by DC Wezope Kenye DC Wokha as district BS&G president, MTC principal Dr. Abeni Lotha as BS&G vice president, Deputy DEO Sentimenla as district chief commissioner and Thunglamo Odyuo as media secretary.
The programme was also attended by ADC Wokha Thavaseelen (IAS), EAC Wokha Asale, Dr. Mhabemo Kithan, Fernbrook School proprietor Rushamo Tsopoe, BS&G district officials, scout master‘s, guide captains and scout & guides. Earlier, the programme was chaired by SDEO cum district secretary BS&G Wokha T. Chonbenthung Odyuo and later vote of thanks was delivered by district training commissioner (S) Wokha T. Mhonbemo Kikon.
