Zunheboto district BJP, has formally elected and inducted it’s new district president with pastor ZTSBC Dr. Daniel Chishi dedicating the initiation service, here in Youth Hall, Old Town Zunheboto, Saturday.
Zunheboto district BJP in-charge and Nagaland state BJP spokesperson Yanghose administered the introduction of newly appointed/elect president Shikuto Sema and also highlighted the promotion of the incumbent former president Khuvishe Zhimo as State BJP cultural president/convenor. Yanghose, in his address acknowledged the services and sacrifices rendered by the former president Khuvishe Zhimo; he further exhorted the party workers on the hierarchical/cadre based system and disciplines to hold any post under the BJP party in all levels ‘national to grassroots’.
State BJP Disciplinary Action Committee member Kuputo Shohe (aka Atobo) also lauded the former president Khuvishe for his dedication and more than a decade long services rendered by the former district chief.
He concluded saying, “we should do away with misunderstanding and miscommunication amongst the party workers, ranks and files”, who also touched the “cadre based” system of the BJP party.
State BJP vice president and former congress candidate Mghato Achumi also spoke on the occasion and answered to the queries and confusions put forth by the party workers. He highly focused on mahila/women wing and highlighted the importance, tasks and multiple role/aspects in the BJP party fold and parties as well, while recalling his past Congress party affiliation. He congratulated the newly elected president and also lauded the services of the former district chief in conclusion.
BJP Zunheboto district frontals presidents Er. Yekuto Zhimomi (Kissan); K Katoho Yepthomi (youth); Shenili Rochill (mahila); Kakheto Awomi (minority cell) also spoke on the occasion and extended solidarity to the newly elect president from the State BJP directives; each of them, lauded the former president and wished him success in the upper state level too. Various mandals/unit constituency (s) presidents namely 31 AC Akuluto, Hovito Chishi; 34 AC Aghunato, Kakiya Yeptho; 35 AC Zunheboto, Tokheyi Yeptho; 36 AC Satakha, Zhekugha Zhimomi and 13 AC Pughoboto, Jevito Achumi spoke and extended solidarity to the newly elect president, thus acknowledging the directives of the state level.

Earlier the program was led by district youth President Katoho Yepthomi while general secretary Mahila BJP Zunheboto Vilika recorded the proceedings. The program concluded with BJP Zunheboto mahila president Shenili Rochill who extended vote of thanks, she congratulated the new district chief/president and also wished the former president Khuvishe in his endeavors at state BJP level too.
