TTWWO conducts mass social work

Under the aegis of Tening Town Women Welfare Organisation (TTWWO) a mass social work and road repairing was carried out on July 29 at Tening town. In a press statement, president TTWWO, Julia, stated the social work was necessitated due to deplorable condition of the roads in the town area. During heavy rains most of the stretch of the town roads turns into swamps causing untold miseries especially to school children and mothers, she said. She also lamented that road widening work which started in 2013 stopped abruptly leaving the roads in pathetic condition.   Further, TTWWO appealed state government and the responsible department to immediately complete the road widening project.
