
Parliamentary secretary for Art & Culture, E. Eshak Konyak inspected the District Cultural Office Phek on August 4 and held a meeting with the staff, during which he assured to give his best for the upliftment of the department.
According to DIPR report, the parliamentary secretary said that many departments were neglecting their duties and functions for which “we” needed to change “our” mindset for the upliftment of the people.
He called upon the staff to be sincere to improve the department and assured to give one computer set and also make the connecting road to the office at the earliest.
The meeting was chaired by deputy director, Art & Culture, Vevo Sapu. District Cultural Officer (DCO) Tesovekuolie Therie also spoke in the meeting where he shared the grievances and needs of the department.
