D’Block Panchayat would be conducting mass social work on August 6 from 6 a.m onwards in view of the forthcoming Independence Day. The Panchayat requested the residents, owners of under construction buildings or sites to clear the debris from the roadside. Also the residents and tenants of the houses located near the drainage and gutters were also informed to co-operate with the volunteers in cleaning/clearing off the drains while also the residents were informed to clean their own surroundings and neighborhood. Panchayat secretary Gilbert in a release also asked the residents to participate in the scheduled programme and also requested the public to bear with the inconveniences that would be caused during the mass social work for few hours.
