Joint team of 9 and 32 Assam Rifles along with Nagaland Police nabbed one NSCN (K) civil wing cadre identified as ‘leacy’ Asopa Yimchungar (43) son of Thuvikiv Yimchungar resident of Noklak village under Tuensang at Dimapur.
According to AR, a specially constituted team tracked the cadre and nabbed him near Supply Depot, Dimapur on July 26. One 7.65 mm pistol, “three rds”, one magazine and one register with details of tax collection from vehicles was seized from his possession. AR said during the initial questioning, the cadre revealed that he was an active member of NSCN (K) ‘civil wing’ since March 2014 and had been working independently at Dimapur to collect tax on orders from town commander.
