PGC organises mass sanitation cum cleanliness awareness

Peren Government College (PGC), Peren conducted a mass sanitation cum cleanliness awareness drive on July 30 at Peletkie village.
PGC stated that apart from cleaning the roads and footpaths in the village and the premises of the village primary school, the students and faculty also donated plastic waste baskets which were strategically placed in and around the village.
PGC had earlier adopted Peletkie village as its “best practices” for the year 2016-2017 under the aegis of the “Research, Consultancy & Extension Cell (IQAC)” of the College. 
During the adoption period, the college endeavours to carry out various programmes in the village including sanitation and cleanliness drives, research projects, folk lore preservation, health talks and medical camps.
