Prabhu to lay foundation stone of rail project

Union minister of railways, Suresh Prabhu, would lay the foundation stone of Dimapur (Dhansiri)-Zubza new railway line project at Dimapur Railway Station on August 1, 2016 at 10am. Nagaland governor, P.B.Acharya, and chief minister, T.R.Zeliang, would be present as chief guests. After the programme, the union minister would also dress the press at 10.45am.
Traffic advisory
In view of the visit of the union railways minister, the Dimapur police have issued traffic advisories, which would be enforced only on August 1, 2016 between 8:30am—12 noon.
In a press release, additional deputy commissioner of police/PRO informed that taxis and autorickshaws would not be allowed to park within the premises of the railway station.
Commuters have been advised to avoid the route from Super-Market- Nagarjan Junction- Railway station. Police have also informed that vehicles coming from Purana Bazaar area would not be allowed to enter the Town area via Old Dhansiri Bridge.
Meanwhile, the Dimapur traffic police have sought cooperation from the citizens and expressed regret for inconvenience.
