District Vector Borne Office, Mokokchung organised a sensitization campaign in the villages of Mokokchung led by DMEIO, Mokokchung Tarep Longchar, IEC personnel and surveillance workers from District Malaria Office on vector borne disease.
During the campaign, IEC leaflets were distributed and also focus group discussion was held. Villagers were sensitized on the prevention, signs and symptoms of malaria etc. and blood samples were also collected from the participants for testing of malaria. The campaign was attended by ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, village health committee members and villagers.
