9 Assam Rifles (AR) held an interaction with village council chairman, head GB and other stake holders of Thetsumi, Enhulumi, Chizami and Swemi villages of Chizami Sub Division on June 12, at Chizami village.
The interaction focused on review of security situation, issues of forceful taxation, and ways to enhance co-operation between security forces and villagers. During interaction valuable suggestions were brought out to further improve the relationship and both parties vowed to stand together to work for long lasting peace and prosperity in the region.
