More than thirty (30) kms adjoining the 4 villages of Kitahu, Tazahumi, Tizuhumi till Koiboto village were recently repaired and maintained by the volunteers of the four concerned village communities during past few weeks. As per the reports of vice chairman adhoc urban station committee, Henikhu Awomi, “new road cutting stretching at least two and a half kms from Kitahu was also initiated”.
Further, another 6 and a half kms stretching from Lizuto to Koiboto were broadened and widened; minor repairs connecting Koiboto- Achikichu- Asuto- AichiSaghe were also maintained stated the report. All the logistic and technical supports such as bulldozers and other assistances were extended by parliamentary secretary for Fisheries and Printing Press, Shetoi Sümi. Meantime, all the Kükami/GBs, elders and the public from the concerned four villages has extended gratitude and acknowledged Shetoi Sümi and also the manual volunteers for their services.
