All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association units inform

All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Tuensang unit held a joint meeting on May 31 with headmasters, headmistress, junior education officers of Tuensang district and the sub-unit leaders at its treasurer’s residence and unanimously resolved to extend unflinching support to the ongoing stir jointly spearheaded by the central ANSTA body and the NSSFOF. 
A press note by ANSTA Tuensang unit president Nungsang Chang stated that the first day of the second phase of agitation in Tuensang district passed off successfully with the cooperation of all the bonafied members of ANSTA Tuensang unit.
ANSTA Tuensang unit association expressed its deepest regret for the inconvenience caused to innocent school children by the ongoing agitation. It further informed to all the concerned members that the agitation would continue till further information. 
ANSTA Peren:  ANSTA and NSSFOF joint meeting was held along with the teachers of Peren district and a core committee was constituted with  Ramdi,  headmaster, GHS. Dungi as the convenor and Adaile as its secretary for the second phase of agitation. The unit expressed its unflinching support to central ANSTA and NSSFOF for the second phase of agitation on the issue of bifurcation.
The unit in a press release issued by its secretary Adaile and information and publicity cell secretaries Teisi and Robert N Marathon while expressing its acknowledgement and gratitude for  the support received from all the members of NSSFOF and all  primary, elementary and secondary teachers in the first phase of agitation, stated the same should continue in the second phase of agitation in the greater interest of the teachers of primary, elementary and secondary, It has also appealed to the government to address the genuine demand of central ANSTA and NSSFOF  at the earliest  if it is really concern for the career and welfare of the students.
ANSTA sub-unit Mokokchung: Meanwhile ANSTA sub-unit Mokokchung, MBA & CTN informed that Nagaland Government Primary Teachers Association (NGPTA) has issued a notification on May 30 to abstain from the second phase agitation launched by ANSTA and NSSFOF demanding bifurcation. The three sub-units of ANSTA whoch comprise mostly of primary teachers are unaware of the formation and existence of this association and the resolution so made. 
Therefore the members of the three sub-units of Mokokchung district, viz, Mokokchung, Mangkolemba and Changtongya are informed for clarification that the sub-units as well as its members (except ANGPTA members) are affiliations of ANSTA Mokokchung and such as are to adhere and comply to the directives issued by ANSTA as bonafide member of ANSTA. This was stated by Mokokchung sub-unit general secretary, Imtitozung, CTN sub-unit president, Limawati and MBA sub-unit president Senlikaba.
