In a reply to the news items “NNC Parent body condemns”, GDRN/NNC(N-A) refuted the NNC parent body’s statement claiming that NNC(Non-Accord), a political body, has been running the affairs sans Govt. for the last 5 years and compelled by the situation, the NNC(Non-Accord) decided to declare the nomenclature of the Govt. as “Government Democratic Republic of Nagaland (GDRN)” on May 25,therefore it was not a new faction as claimed by MIP NNC parent body. In a press note, MIP GDRN/NNC (N-A) stated that it may be new to NNC parent body but not new to the Nagas. “In Naga political history, every political group have its own govt. except NNC parent body which is run and ruled by a single person,” GDRN/NNC (N-A) added. Advising the “so called” MIP NNC parent body, GDRN/NNC (N-A) stated, “without knowing head and tail, making mockery and laughingstock at others is making mockery and laughingstock to yourself and rather study within yourself.”
Further, GDRN/NNC (N-A) expressed that at such crucial stage the Nagas does not want a leader who was jealous of someone who did something right.
“Pinpointing and targeting Kiumukam Yimchunger does not make sense because Nagas know from your statement that your leader is far weaker than Kiumukam Yimchunger and also from your jealousy statement Nagas cannot be fooled,” GDRN/NNC (N-A) stated.
