Farwell programme for govt. servants held in Dmu, Kma

A separate farewell programme was organized by Nagaland State Transport (NST) and Finance Department Saturday for NST Dimapur general manager Senti Pongener and secretary (finance & budget) Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS at Dimapur and Kohima respectively.  
In Dimapur, Senti Pongener who is retiring on the completion of 35years service was given a grand farewell by NST officers and staffs at its General Manager Office (GMO) premises. 
In his farewell speech, Senti Pongener thanked almighty God for granting him a long life to enable him to serve the people through the department and allowing him to achieve milestone in good health. 
Lauding the department, credited the subordinate officers and administrable staffs from various wings that have extended their support and cooperation for the success achievements of the department during his tenure as HOD. 
Pongener said that NST being a revenue earning department with a mission to cater transportation needs of the people in the state specially in the rural areas, it was the moral obligation of all officers and staff to work with sincerity and dedication to achieve the objective and reach the targets by continuing to keep up the good work of serving the public both in urban and rural areas. 
Additional General Manager (AGM) O. Elhibemo Yanthan spoke in the programme while message on behalf of additional CE, central workshop, Dimapur Er. Atovi Kiba was read out by AE NST, Kohima Er. Dzüvichüto Khale, short speech was also delivered by vehicle examiner, NST Dimapur Er. M. Pienyu, general manager office (GMO) officers and staff and officers from out station. 
The programme was attended by GMO officers, staff, outstation officers and staff of NST department. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Joint general manager Shikaho P.Yeptho and special number was presented by GMO i/c Mengulhoulie and Pangertoshi. 
KOHIMA: Finance Department bade farewell to Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS, secretary, finance & budget at the Finance Conference Hall, Saturday.
In his speech, Kikheto Sema thanked the Almighty God and also R. C. Acharjee, for guidance and advice. He also deliberated on the financial constraints of the state and the initiatives taken the finance department and thanked others departments that had come to the rescue of the State during the crucial moments of the financial constraints.
He appealed to the officers in the finance department to continue with the work culture and ethics which would not only benefit the state but also personal as it would leave behind a legacy for generations.
Senior Research Officer, K. Kepfo, financial adviser R. C. Acharjee, and Principal Secretary & Finance Commissioner Temjen Toy also spoke in the programme. They acknowledged Kikheto’s contributions to the department and wished him the best for his future endevours. The programme was chaired by OSD (General & Budget) V. Kezo.
