A dental clinic, DentisTree Rendezvous, equipped with a digital orthopantomograph (OPG), a first of its kind clinic in Nagaland to offer a digital OPG facility, was inaugurated at Midland, here Tuesday.
Digital OPG, is an x-ray which gives a clear picture of the maxilla and mandible and detects dental problems such as odontogenic cysts, tumors, jaw fractures, and even sinusitis.
DentisTree Rendezvous, proprietor, Dr. Wangshimenba M. Ozukum said, the clinic was to provide complete dento-facial aesthetic and implant services.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Wangshimenba said that in opening this clinic he has achieved his goal to provide “national standard” services to fellow Nagas so that they would not have to go other parts of the country for treatment.
A demonstration of the digital OPG machine was given by Dr. Wangshimenba to the gathering; with Pastor Ao Baptist Church Rev. Ariba Imchen as the first patient.
Family members, pastor, well-wishers and several fellow doctors attended the inaugural programme.
