
To felicitate the successful Lotha candidates in the recently declared NPSC, the Lotha Hoho (LH) organized a special thanksgiving programme at LTC hall, Wokha on March 29.
Addressing the young leaders, advisor for treasuries and accounts, rehab & rehabilitation, Dr. T. M. Lotha stressed on the quality performance and said that studying merely to secure pass mark would lead them nowhere.
He said competition has reached the highest level and even the jobs in government sector have reached to the saturation level.
During the programme, senior citizens and advisor LH, Wobemo Tsopoe also delivered words of encouragement and jubilations to the young leaders.
Successful candidates Echungbemo Erui and Pichano Kikon spoke on behalf of the candidates. Parents of the successful candidates Thungdemo Kithan and C.J Ovung spoke on the occasion and expressed gratefulness to the Lotha Hoho for organizing the function.
Earlier, the function chaired by LH chairman, Mhao Humtsoe began with an invocation by one of the senior most ministers of Assemblies of God Churches, Rev. Tssopemo Ngullie.
Special song in indigenous tune dedicated to the successful leaders was performed by former president Lotha Eloe Hoho, Thungchano Tsanglao and group.
Rev. N.T. Murry encouraged the successful leaders with the word of God. Senior pastor of Police Baptist Church, Rev. Longshi Kithan prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom and protection upon them.
Associate pastor of the Wokha Town Baptist Church, Khonpemo P Kikon pronounced the benediction prayer. The meeting was attended by the parents, leaders of all the Lotha frontal organizations and Lotha Hoho members.
