Special session on the theme, “standout” was held for NIIT students at NIIT conference hall Dimapur on Saturday, with representatives from twenty institutions.
Director of NIIT Dimapur centre, Ajay Sethi exhorted the NIITians to stand out in the crowd of normal graduates as they had to compete with the best globally as well as to justify the investment made by the parents.
Emphasizing the importance of specialization as per respective aptitude, Sethi extolled the importance of scoring minimum 60% marks in X, XII & graduation to meet the demands of the reputed companies for better employment. He said that opportunities were available everywhere for everyone and that student could easily get smarter than their peers & teachers on a particular topic of self-interest in this information age.
He encouraged that even the most remote student could compete with the best if they were equipped with online knowledge, which was the reason that institutes like NIIT upgrade its curriculum yearly with the best information.
