In commemoration with the National Science Day 2016, District Education Officer, Kohima in collaboration with the department of Science & Technology, organised and conducted a competition of innovative science lecture at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima on Friday.
According to DEO, Kohima, Vamu Lohe, 17 schools participated in the competition.
In the competition, Olem Kahdak, class IX of Mezhür Higher Secondary School emerged as the winner followed by Philomina Rutsa class –X of Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Kohima in second position while the third position was shared between Sunjeminla Pongen class X of Model Higher Secondary School and Nourhevito Nagi class 9 of Baptist Mission School, Jotsoma. The competition was judged by Mhasikholie Sachü from TM GHSS Kohima and Sedevilhou Victor Angami from GHS Zhadima.
Prizes to the winners and certificates to all participants were given away by Rüükhono Rafela Iralu.
