Kezieke Youth Organization (KYO), Kezieke Women Organization (KWO) and Kezieke Welfare Board (KWB) have flayed the alleged sexual molestation on a 8-year-old minor girl by Kalam Uddin on March 15 inside a bakery at Kezieke colony, Kohima. Following the incident, the three bodies convened an emergency meeting on March 16, and decided that Kalam should not be allowed to enter Kezieke again. KYO vice president, Lhoulaneotuo Pienyu, KWO president, Vikuonuo Khromo and KWO chairman, Medozeu Rio in a press statement have also appealed to the authority to deliver justice at the earliest and all concern not to exercise “any undue influence” in releasing perpetrator of crime against the minor. They also decided that proprietor of bakery, Hobibur Rahman should be held responsible since the crime took place inside his shop by his own employee. The three bodies also demanded that the bakery be closed down immediately.
