Tenyimi Students’ Union Mokokchung (TSUM) observed its 19th annual general conference under the theme “strong together, grow together” on March 19 at cosmos hall , Mokokchung.
The event was graced by assistant commandant 2nd NAP battalion Alichen, Rukulu Tunyi, and EAC Tuli, Vikhoto Richa as resource person. Other dignitaries present were NUSU, various tribal union executives, church elders and Tenyimi families from different walks of life.
Rukulu Tunyi in her speech explained how hard work, being focused and commitment to God help in unlocking any confined settings and referred to Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11. EAC Tuli challenged the youth to be more informative and also highlighted various competitive exams both in public and private sector.
Conference greetings were extended by Thejavito Peseyie where he also highlighted union genus. Other highlights of the programme included special number “lift my life up” from CTC, reports from respective departments followed by induction and dedication of new executives (2016-17) TSUM by pastor Tenyimi Church Mokokchung, Atho Yano.
