As scheduled, Government of India (GoI) and NSCN (I-M) would be holding crucial talks on Tuesday at New Delhi. GoI would be represented by Interlocutor for Naga talks, R.N. Ravi and NSCN (I-M) led by its general secretary Th. Muivah.
However, this time, highly placed sources told Nagaland Post that besides Th. Muivah and senior functionaries, ‘gen.’ (retd) Kholi Konyak would also be part of the delegation. Kholi had recently left the GPRN/NSCN and joined the NSCN (I-M).
Sources said that Tuesday’s meeting would be significant, as it would also involve ‘gen.’ Kholi Konyak, who would be attending such a meeting for the first time.
In his declaration on March 12, Kholi said he had “taken the right decision to join the only correct national line under the leadership of chairman Isak Chishi Swu and general secretary Th. Muivah.”
