Union minister for communications and information technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad has reportedly assured to assist the state in setting up nine projects under the department of Information Technology and Communication (IT&C), at an estimate cost of Rs. 214.64 crore under Project Development Fund (PDF). Informing this to Nagaland Post, minister for information and technology, P. Paiwang Konyak, said Ravi Shankar assured to take up the matter on “priority basis”. Paiwang submitted the project proposal on March 11.
The proposed projects include chief minister dashboard, single window e-business, enterprise architecture, Wi-fi hotspot, Naganet, pilot project for Ariel OFC (ADSS) over 33KV/11KV power transmission lines, e-Naga village pilot project, e-Naga cabinet and e-Naga training centre.
According, PRO Nagaland House Delhi, the minster assured that the project would be taken up in the next financial year 2016-17.
