Directorate of health and family welfare (H&FW) has notified that it has decided to discontinue the distribution of Long Lasting Insecticide treated nets (LLIN) in some villages/wards in and around Dimapur until further notice. In a press release, H&FW joint director (NVBDCP) Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru said the decision was taken after it came to the notice of the authority that some villages/wards in and around Dimapur were still collecting money from public for LLIN despite repeated appeals on free distribution by National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme.
