ASHAs trained on capacity building

Four-days training on capacity building for ASHAs under NHRM in inter personal communication (IPC) was held from February 29 to March 3 at IDSP conference hall Mokokchung. ASHAs were given extensive training in communication skills, family planning and child health. Resource person, HETO, DHFW Kohima, Supongla and her team visited the wards of Mokokchung.
They held focus group discussion on National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) and Mahila Arogya Samithi (MAS) with the chairmen, health workers, execution members, ASHAs etc. 
Other resource persons included FWA Dimapur, Thejangunuo, medical officer Shamator, Dr.Meren, and DMEIO Mokokchung, Dr. Tarep Longchar.
