First NCS from Japukong range, Lt. Wati passes away

First NCS officer and graduate from Japukong Range, Mokokchung, C. Wati Ao passed away. 
Late Wati, born on January 2, 1927 did his matriculation in Kohima Government High School (1949), pre-university in Cotton College, Guwahati (1952) and graduated from St. Anthony’s College, Shillong (1956).
He joined government service as assistant teachers in Government High School, Mokokchung in November 1957, and later on appointed as Circle Officer, in 1961.
He retired as joint director, administrative training institute (ATI) in 1986.
Late Wati also received Governor’s medal for his meritorious service to the government of Nagaland in 1963.
He was also the pioneer of the Japukong Kaketshir Mungdang and served as executive member of ABAM for one term.
He leaves behind two sons, four daughter and six grandchildren.
