All Nagaland Adhoc Teacher’s Union (ANATU’13) has resolved to submit a representation to minister for school education for early regularization.
In a press release, ANATU’13 president Neipetso Lomi and vice president, Thepfuneile Khezhie said this was decided during a general meeting held on March 2 at ANSTA office Kohima. The meeting was attended by ANATU’13 members who had appeared written and oral suitability test June 24 to 27, 2014.
The release said that this group of teachers who had completed three years and above in 2012 were entitled to get regularization of service as per the P&AR office memorandum No. AR/5/ASSO/98 dated August 4, 2008.
ANATU’13 informed that the teachers had fulfilled all the formalities laid down by the P&AR office memo, further finance concurrence for regularization of this group of ad hoc teachers had been issued on January 29, 2016 by the finance department.
The union appealed every member to bear with the union and wait for minister’s response at the earliest as he had assured the union to come up with a solution at the earliest in November 2015.
ANATU’13 further informed that the union would be compelled to take further course of action to protect legal rights in a democratic way, the matter was not solved.
The union also informed that at the meeting, the house resolved to collect membership fee for 2016 and that absentees would be penalized with a fine. The union has entrusted district representatives to initiate the same.
