A combined team of GRPS personnel and RPF Dimapur seized large quantities of explosives at railway station, Dimapur on Monday. 
According to addl. dy commissioner of police and PRO, the explosives- 280 gelatin sticks, 400 detonators and 20 rolls (35 ft) of fuse wire, were seized during routine checking. 
In this connection, one person identified as Soloman Hmar son of late Lalhum Hmar of Karbi Anglong, Assam was arrested, PRO said. A case has been registered under explosive act for further investigation, PRO said.
