ACAUT Nagaland has reminded the department of P&AR and medical department of the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench judgment and order dated November 14, 2014, which set aside regularization of 13 out of 15 doctors as Veterinary Assistant Surgeons (VAS).
In a press release, media cell ACAUT stated that the particular High Court order was a blanket ban on regularization of services of all backdoor appointees in every department under the State government. Therefore, ACAUT has asked the P&AR department to “stop its desperate attempt to regularize the services of the 19 backdoor appointee doctors, 2009-11 batch as Medical Officers (MO). It further reminded both the P&AR and medical departments that such regularization, henceforth, would amount to Contempt of Court.
Meanwhile, ACAUT has said finally “sanity has mercifully returned to the Medical department” following the issuance of appointment order of those 2015 NPSC cleared 18 medical officers on March 1, 2016 “after a criminal delay of 4 months”.
