District forest department, Wokha in collaboration with Green Light planet (manufacturer of solar lantern) distributed 60 Multi Utility Eco Friendly Solar Lantern (MUEFSL) to the residents of New Wokha village on February 22.
In a press release, New Wokha Village Council, head GB, Ezanbemo Murry said MUEFSLs were distributed in the presence of DFO Wokha, Imtiwapang Longchar, DFO Doyang, Zuthunglo IFS and Tiyi Wild Life Conservation and Animal Human Conflict Control Society (TWLC&AHCCS).
Village council and general public have expressed gratitude to the Green Light Planet Company and the forest department for the Good Samaritan gesture.
Meanwhile, head GB of New Wokha Village has convened the 6th general meeting on March 12 at the village Council hall. All concerned have been requested to attend the meeting
