One day training programme was conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mon sponsored by National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture – Technology Demonstration Component (NICRA-TDC) on February 29 at KVK conference hall.
During the training the resource person subject matter specialist (plant protection), Martha Chakruno extensively deliberated on the topic “integrated pest management in large cardamom”. She also elaborated on points like selection of healthy suckers for the prevention of the spread of diseases, conservation of natural enemies, and community approach for the management of insect pest were also discussed with the farmers. Altogether 35 farmers attended the training programme.
