Daily bus service connecting Longleng-Mongtikang was inaugurated on February 25 at Mongtikang village.
A press release by Namching Hung Students Union (NHSU) general secretary, P. Chemphang Phom stated that the programme was attended by assistant station superintendent, vice president PPC, public leaders, village council and students of five villages (Lingtak, Hukphang, Pongching, Namching & Mongtikang). The dedicatory service was said by the pastor Pongching Baptist Church
NHSU has also extended gratitude to the concerned department for fulfilling the long awaited facility and for understanding the hardship and inconveniences faced by the people. It also advised the people of Namching Hung to take care of the property which belong to the citizens.
