CHC Bhandari reopens ‘major’ OT

Community Health Centre (CHC) Bhandari under Wokha district has reopened its “major” Operation Theatre (OT) on February 22 following repair and renovation by funds generated through “private funding”.
The OT was reopened in a short dedication ceremony attended by staff of CHC Bhandari and public leaders of the area.  
An air conditioner donated by parliamentary secretary for labour and employment, skill development and border affairs Mmhonlumo Kikon was also installed in the CHC.
ACME Infertility and Health Centre Imphal managing director and infertility consultant Dr James Elangbam also donated money for purchase of OT equipments.
