Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya has extended greetings to the Angami community on the occasion of Sekrenyi festival.
In his message, Acharya said while celebrating this unique festival, “all should cleanse ourselves by leaving one’s differences aside and instill in our hearts the spirit of love, joy, peace, forbearance, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness”.
P.B. Acharya stressed on the need to share these qualities with families, friends, neighbours, acquaintance and society, to strengthen the bond of love and unity among the people of Nagaland as a whole. This way, he said it would transform the Naga society into a new prosperous Nagaland. The Governor hoped that the festival bring continuous peace and progress to the Angami community.
