Chen Union Dimapur (CUD) held its 22nd general session at its union mission under the theme, “Leading the Way” on April 21.
A press release issued by CUD, stated that, the union passed various resolutions, but the most important resolution adopted was to reward the 1st individual from among the registered members of the union to clear UPSC.
A special speech on the theme was delivered by K. L. Yamao, emphasizing on the important role of leadership and pro-active NGOs for welfare of the community. He deliberated on participation and contribution from the members to achieve aspirations.
Various reports such as general, finance, audit and nominating committee were presented in the meeting. A membership and registration process was also conducted. The programme started with invocation by Lampha, followed by a special song from Manching Wee.
The new team of office bearers for 2018-21 is led by president N. Chingkem and general secretary S. Manching Wee along with five others.
