As announced earlier by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to open passport seva kendra in Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh, the union minister of state (MoS) for external affairs Gen. Dr. V.K. Singh (retd) would be inaugurating the Passport Seva Kendra at New DC office complex, Dimapur at 2 p.m. on January 15. According to a DIPR report, Nagaland chief minister T.R. Zeliang would also be addressing on the occasion. Meanwhile, in a press release, DC Dimapur Kesonyu Yhome has informed all the heads of departments/offices in Dimapur to attend the inaugural function without fail and be seated at the venue not later than 1:30 p.m.
