TSU asks orgns not to issue directives

Against the backdrop of the Public Forum Shamator Town (PFST) seven-day deadline to Tikhir citizens, the Tikhir Students Union (TSU) has advised organizations to refrain from issuing “directives/orders” to Tikhir citizens, since “Tikhir Tribal Council (TTC) has its sole responsibility and control within its jurisdiction”.
In a press note, TSU president, Longkamse. S and general secretary, Temong Y Tikhir, reminded PFST that TTC advisory to its citizens was to leave Yimchunger towns and villages and not of Tikhir villages and towns.
TSU therefore, asked the forum, how could directive be issued against the “landowners-Tikhirs” by some “vested Yimchunger individuals illegally utilizing the power”.
Maintaining that the forum should be consisting of various tribal representatives residing in any towns or districts, TSU further claimed that “Yimchunger vested tribal instincts” has become the sole organizers of the “illegal forum”.
