First general conference (Houzha Va Puo-u) of Japfuphiki Baptist Church Council Thepfuko Krotho [(JBCCTK) men’s department] held at Jakhama Baptist Church under the theme “Strive for Maturity” Ephesians 4:13 concluded on January 10, 2016.
In a press release, JBCCTK president Nosevol Kin and secretary Vizade Zao said more than 600 delegates registered from 14 villages and over 1350 attended the Sunday Morning worship service.
During the conference, the delegates visited to all eight different khels in Jakhama village and conducted a special prayer session at 6 a.m.
JBCCTK said every delegate and member of Jakhama Baptist Church was blessed. Everyone participated in worship session, workshop, talent show, singing competitions both choir and solo, praise and worship, etc.
JBCTK chairman Kezhokhoto Savi said the hosting church had stressed on the importance of organic food by providing organic items such as rice, pork, fish, chicken, vegetables, etc throughout the conference starting from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The office-bearers of JBCCTK expressed gratitude to all the speakers, choirs, delegates, volunteers and the host church for the arrangement. The new team of office bearers for the tenure 2016-2020 was selected. The team would be led by BCK senior pastor Rev. Keholeshu Tepa.
