TNAI Nagaland state branch holds Xth state level conference

Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), Nagaland state branch, held its Xth state level conference under the theme “developing and strengthening leadership roles for quality nursing services” at CBLT, Resource Centre, Tuensang Nagaland on January 12 and 13 with minister for health and family welfare, P. Longon as the chief guest.
A joint press release by Tuensang chief medical officer, Dr. T. Panjung Sangtam and district media officer, Kupje Buchem stated that during the two days training altogether there were five sessions, i.e. inaugural session, business sessions, evening sessions and valedictory session.
It stated that deputy commissioner Tuensang, Alemjongshi, CMO Tuensang Dr. Pangjung Sangtam, joint secretary TNAI Nagaland state branch, Neise-u Rutsa and joint director nursing, Ch. Henia along with district hospital medical staff attended the programme. Altogether 196 members from different districts participated at the conference.
The speakers were NSG (Paed) MBA (hospital administration) i/c  Nursing Section, University Health Centre, Nagaland University, Nyanbeni Murry M.Sc. spoke on the topic of “Fostering New Pedagogy for future Nursing Education, Service & Research”  and associate professor, College of Nursing , CIHSR Dimapur, A. Purnungla Aier spoke on the topic “Social Changes and impact on NSG Services”.
