NSSATA Mon unit held a meeting on April 25 and decided to support the ultimatum served on the government by the Nagaland Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teacher Association (NSSATA).
A press release by NSSATA, Mon unit president Joseph Hapwang and general secretary, Joseph Yomat cautioned the SDEOs under Mon district to not countersign the pay bill without the 7th ROP. The unit also supported the democratic means of agitation served by the central team (NSSATA) beginning from May 2. Therefore, NSSATA Mon unit has requested students, parents and NGOs to cooperate during the agitation and also asked its members to be ready for the agitation.
