PDFU informs farmers

Phek District Farmers’ Union (PDFU) informed all farmers who have registered under PDFU to renew their respective registration on or before January 29 failing which it said their registration would be canceled.
PDFU said this was resolved by the house during its executive meeting on December 11 at its head office, Pfütsero. 
It has also informed any progressive and concentrated farmers to register himself/ herself under PDFU on or before January 29. 
The union has also requested every village/ town under Phek district, who have not been formed, to form village/ town farmer’s union on or before January 29. Those who have already been formed have been informed to contact at its head office, Pfütsero. 
Phek District Farmers’ Union further informed that sub-committee of some important crops viz. medical and aromatic plants, fruits, spices and vegetables would be formed at the earliest.
