State government has constituted an expert committee to study the issues relating to implementation of the NLTP Act 1989. In regard to this, commissioner of excise, V. Maria Yanthan has convened a consultative meeting with the DGP, principal director Health and Family Welfare, project director NSCACS, director Kripa Foundation, president Naga Mothers’ Association, general secretary NBCC and president Naga Students’ Federation on January 15, 11 a.m. at the conference hall of the chief secretary, Kohima. The commissioner has also requested all concerned departments/NGOs to attend the meet along with the statistics relating to liquor and alcohol abuse encountered by the departments/NGOs in the last three years.
