Dte of S&WC bids farewell to director

Farewell programme was held by the directorate of Soil and Water Conservation for the outgoing director, T. Imkongmar Aier on January 31 at the directorate conference hall, Kohima. 
Imkongmar Aier in his speech encouraged the officers and staff to initiate work at grass root level, so the common man could reap the benefits of the departmental activities. Director designate, M. M. Solo also wished the outgoing director a happy retired life. Vote of thanks was delivered by joint director, Imkongneken Ao.  
Representatives from district headquarters and staff of the directorate attended, where project director Peter. K. Rengma chaired the programme and bio-data of the outgoing director was red by registrar Tebul Niekha. A short speech was also delivered by DSCO Wokha, Myansao Lotha. Commissioner and secretary of Soil and Water Conservation was also present.
